Course Details
BSI’s Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) course is an attempt to delineate all possible failures and their effects on the system. The objective is to classify failures according to their effect. FMEA is a discipline that focuses upon design, whether it is of a product or a process, and this 8 hour course provides a working understanding of the FMEA process, both for Design FMEA and Process FMEAs. Students will study practical problems, which are designed to highlight the important aspects of these techniques. The mixture of tutorial and practical exercises will allow attendees to return to their normal activities and play a creative and effective part in the FMEA process in their organization.
