Join Gary Slack and Howard Kerr to review the status and implication of Brexit and how these will impact the implementation of both the MDR and IVDR. Gary will outline BSI's plans and the contingencies we have in place to deal with the uncertainty caused by the UK withdrawal from the EU.

Howard was appointed to the BSI Board in November 2008 and assumed the position of Chief Executive in January 2009. After a period at Associated British Ports, his early career was spent in business development roles in the fields of shipping, logistics and B2B marketing with Inchcape PLC in the UK, Japan, China and the Middle East. Subsequently he joined SHV Holdings NV, where he held general management positions in the energy division, including Chief Executive of Calor Group Ltd, UK, and Senior Vice-President on the International Management Board of SHV Gas in the Netherlands.

Gary has over 25 years in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry with extensive knowledge of the United Kingdom healthcare environment, including the National Health Service (NHS) and Department of Health (DOH). His product expertise spans Interventional Cardiology, Cardiac Rhythm Management, Cardiac Surgery, and IV Therapy. In his current role as Senior Vice President Global Medical Devices, Gary is responsible for P&L and strategic planning for BSI's global medical device business with focus on the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, and China.
