Course Details

Is your organization's Lock-out/Tagout (LOTO) program audit ready? The federal standard for the “Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout/Tagout),” found in Title 29, Code of Federal Regulations, section 1910.147, requires a Hazardous Energy Control Program that includes procedures, training, and periodic inspections.

In this course, we will review the requirements of a successful Hazardous Energy Control Program and how to evaluate your program for compliance gaps, including what should be in your equipment specific procedures. We will also discuss implementation issues with the often-neglected periodic inspections of HEC procedures, as well as the following topics:

  • LOTO Program Refresher - Review program requirements and fundamentals
  • Compliance Gaps - Understand what to evaluate in your program and procedures
  • Periodic Inspections - Learn what is involved in the annual review of equipment specific procedures
