This two-day BRCGS Global Standard for Storage and Distribution Issue 4 - Sites training course delivered by BSI gives technical, quality and operations staff from the logistics industry, retailers and food service companies a clear understanding of the protocols and requirements of the BRCGS Global Standard for Storage and Distribution.
The scope of this training course includes audit planning, introducing corrective actions, and a closer look at key events during and after the audit.
Course Aim
The BRCGS Standard for Storage & Distribution Issue 4 is a globally accepted certification for storage and distribution companies, and companies supplying storage and distribution services in many sectors, including the food sector. Successful completion of this course will assist technical and quality staff in demonstrating competency and understanding of this BRCGS Standard.
How will I benefit?
The intention of the course is to enable delegates to gain a full understanding of the general principles of the Standard, and how to comply with the requirements. Delegates will also gain an understanding of what to expect during the process of certification, and actions needed prior to, during and after the audit.

The course is developed in modules and formatted for virtual or classroom learning. This blended approach reinforces understanding with individual and group activities including case study exercises.
What will I gain?
Upon completion of the BRCGS Storage and Distribution Standard - Understanding Requirements Course with BSI, you will be assessed with an exam, and upon successful completion you will be awarded with a certificate of achievement.
This course is part of the BRCGS Global Standards Professional recognition program.
Prerequisites
Before the course you must have read and reviewed a copy of the BRCGS Storage & Distribution Standard which is available free of charge from the BRCGS Bookshop.
Please note: You’ll be undertaking live, web-based search activities, so you will need to bring along your laptop, tablet or smart device.

Delegates will need to enroll on BRCGS Educate after registering for this course, to enable them to receive the BRCGS Academy certificates.
Course Materials
Soft Copy: You will receive an email prior to the course with instructions on how to access the online Student Handbook, which can be viewed, downloaded or printed.
NOTE: Copies of the standards are not included in the class fee.
BSI will make reasonable efforts to have loaner copies available for use during the class, but students are encouraged to have their own copy. Soft copies of the digital loaner standard cannot be printed or downloaded.
