Our two-day ISO 50001:2018 requirements course uses an activity-based, delegate-centered approach. This helps you share energy management experiences and knowledge with other attendees, bringing the information presented alive to improve retention and support your implementation process when you return to work.

An experienced instructor will explain the clauses in detail, cover auditing of the requirements for the standard. Students learn by participating in group exercises, case studies, and in-depth discussions.

You’ll be able to identify the structure and requirements of an effective EnMS. Gain a thorough understanding of the key ISO 50001 terms, definitions, and the ISO standardized high-level structure. You will learn to interpret and apply the key concepts and principles of the standard to existing processes within your organization.

To gain an understanding of effective energy management in an organization by providing a systematic approach to achieving continual improvement of energy performance.

How will I learn?

Our-high impact accelerated learning approach increases learning by improving knowledge retention and skill application. This course is activity-based, resulting in a deeper understanding of the material and a greater impact on job performance.

What will I gain?

A Certificate of Attainment in the EN competency unit will be provided for students who are deemed “Competent” for the EN competency unit. Certificates of attendance are provided to those who do not pass the competency test, and students will be given the opportunity to retake the test.

Prerequisites

There are no formal prerequisites; however it will be useful for delegates to read the International Standard before attending this course.
