The SCAN Service Provider Refresher training course will provide attendees with an overview of the Supplier Compliance Audit Network (SCAN) and the program’s requirements for supply chain security. The US CTPAT program has recently released new Minimum Security Criteria, and the SCAN program has updated their audit criteria to comply with the new standard. Auditors who conduct audits against the SCAN standard will be expected to have an understanding of the new criteria and how to recognize compliance or non-compliance with the new requirements. This course walks auditors through different sections of the requirements, such as conveyance security, physical security, and personnel security, and includes interactive tests of understanding. The course concludes with a final test of understanding that auditors must pass in order to complete the course.
