This workshop covers the requirements and basic information  for each of the five core tool and provides insight on how to audit each tool.

·       APQP provides a phased approach for the planning, development, verification, validation, manufacture and follow-up of an automotive product

·       VDA FMEA helps reduce risk during design and  manufacture

·       MSA ensures measured data is reliable and can be used for fact based decision making

·       SPC monitors process variation and identifies when special cause variation is present so it can be addressed in real time to reduce adverse effects

·       PPAP demonstrates  a company can run quality parts at expected full production rates prior to customer authorization to produce parts

The course covers the same materials as the 5 individual 1 day Core tools courses plus the 1 day Auditing core tools course.  Overlaps between the individual courses are removed without sacrificing content making this the best alternative for someone needing understanding of all five tools
