The BRCGS is a Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) recognized scheme. The Consumer Products Standard includes both the General Merchandise, and Personal Care and Household Standards.

This course covers the third-party requirements against the BRCGS Global Standard for Consumer Products - both General Merchandise, and Personal Care and Household Standards.

Course Aim

This training provides the knowledge and skills required to undertake audits in accordance with the BRCGS Global Standard for Consumer Products Issue 4.

How will I benefit?

This course includes the protocol and requirements of Issue 4, consistent report-writing, auditing techniques and management of the BRCGS audit, ultimately preparing an individual for a Lead Auditor role.

What will I learn?

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

• Understand the detailed requirements and audit protocol of Global Standard for Consumer Products Issue 4 for both Personal Care and Household and General Merchandise
  
• Prepare, deliver and report on a BRCGS audit
  
• Understand practical auditing techniques, report writing and management of the BRCGS audit report
  
• Prepare for a Lead Auditor role

Your learning shall be supported and accelerated by one of BSI’s competent and experienced trainers.

What will I gain?

On a successful pass of the BRCGS lead Auditor Training examination following the course (50 questions, pass mark 75%) you will be awarded with a BRCGS Global Standard for Consumer Products Lead Auditor certificate.

Delegates should download and read BOTH copies of the Global Standard for Consumer Products Issue 4 (General Merchandise, and Personal Care and Household Standards) before attending this course. The Standard is available from www.brcgsbookshop.com

Soft Copy: You will receive an email prior to the course with instructions on how to access the online Student Handbook, which can be viewed, downloaded or printed.

NOTE: Copies of the standards are not included in the class fee.

BSI will make reasonable efforts to have loaner copies available for use during the class, but students are encouraged to have their own copy. Soft copies of the digital loaner standard cannot be printed or downloaded.

• You are encouraged to bring a laptop with you to class.
