Presenter information

Ashton Abrahams has over 20 years of progressive experience and is the Co-founder and President at Sigma Analytical Services which is the first cannabis-focused, GMP-certified, analytical and microbiological testing laboratory in Canada. Through Sigma, Ashton has spearheaded tens of project regarding quality assurance, quality control standards, method and technology transfer, and IP creation for cannabis-derived topicals, edibles, and more.  Ashton has focused in the past six years on quality control and testing cannabis derived products and psychedelics, and on advanced methods of extraction and formulation, in Canada, Colombia, and the US, and is a member of C-45 Quality Association, Centennial College’s Program Advisory Committee (PAC) for Cannabis Cultivation and Processing program and GS1 Canada Cannabis Work Group. He has been advocating for the right quality and testing requirements and regulations for cannabis and psychedelics in the past few years in multiple interviews, articles, presentations, and panels.


Jennifer Lott is the Service Delivery Director at BSI Group - AMAS supporting Food, Cannabis, Retail, Internal and Supplier Assurance Solutions. Jennifer’s expertise includes GMP, FSSC 22000 Manufacturing and Packaging, RSPO, Codex Alimentarious, 21 CFR 117, 21 CFR 111, 21 CFR 210-211, ICH Q7, BRCGS Consumer Products, WHO GDP, Eudralex, BRCGS Storage & Distribution, BRCGS Packaging, BRCGS Agents & Brokers and ISO 22716. She is an accredited Lead Auditor and Trainer with over 25 years’ experience in quality and safety management system development, consulting, packaging and laboratory management.
