An AI impact assessment is a comprehensive evaluation of how an AI system may affect various aspects of our lives, including privacy, security, fairness, and ethics. It involves analysing the potential risks, benefits, and unintended consequences of deploying AI technologies in different contexts.

This course will provide you with the understanding and tools to conduct an AI System Impact Assessment, either in isolation or as part of an ISO/IEC 42001:2023 AI management system.

Course Aim

Obtain an understanding of the key terms, definitions and concepts of an AI systems impact assessment based upon ISO/IEC DIS 42005.
