This two-day course provides an overview of the changes between AIAG APQP 2nd and 3rd edition AIAG APQP 2nd and Control Plan 1st Edition focusing on the tools, procedures and reporting requirements specified in the Advanced Product Quality Planning reference manual, detailing the critical steps in the Product Quality Planning Cycle. Also, how the Control Plan is an integral part of APQP process and a living document evolving to incorporate improvements and lessons learned as they occur, and built, according to the various stages of product development (Prototype, Pre-Launch, and Production).

Course aim:

This two-day course has been designed and developed to provide an overview of the key changes of the AIAG APQP 3rd Edition manual and its linkages to PPAP 4th Edition requirements, and the Control Plan methodology aligned to each product development phase, such as prototype, pre-launch, safe-launch, and production. It defines the information required and the alignment with the Process Failure Modes and Effect Analysis.

Prerequisites
