BSI’s BIM ISO 19650 Professional Qualification Training Course is the next step for professionals who have already achieved the BIM ISO 19650 Project Information and / or Asset Information Practitioner Qualification and are looking to progress to the Professional level.

This Professional-level Qualification Pathway is aimed towards those who wish to demonstrate a deeper and thorough understanding of collaborative BIM for managing project information, including its application to security-mindedness and health & safety. It consists of two sequential courses:

• BIM ISO 19650 Part 5: Security Mindedness 
• BIM ISO 19650 Part 6: Health and Safety

Participants who complete these two courses and pass the respective exams will earn a Professional Qualification symbolized by BSI’s “Mark of Trust” badge. 

Please note that the BIM ISO 19650 Professional Qualifications certification pathway is only available to students who have completed the BIM ISO 19650 Practitioner Qualification.

• Recognize security issues related to ISO 19650, CDE and BIM

•  Understand the relationship between BIM ISO 19650 Part 6 and other documents

This Professional-level Qualification is available to learners who have completed the BIM / ISO 19650 Project information Practitioner or Asset Information Practitioner programs.

How will I learn?

This Professional-Level Qualification comprises two mandatory courses and assessments.

What will I gain?

On completion of the courses and after passing the two qualifications exams, you will earn BSI’s BIM Project Information Professional Qualification, including BSI’s Mark of Trust qualification badge, which you can share on your CV, emails, and social media sites such as LinkedIn.

Completing BSI’s BIM Professional Qualification will enable candidates to embark on the Certified Professional Qualification.

Course Materials

Soft Copy: You will receive an email prior to the course with instructions on how to access the online Student Handbook, which can be viewed, downloaded or printed.

NOTE: Copies of the standards are not included in the class fee.

BSI will make reasonable efforts to have loaner copies available for use during the class, but students are encouraged to have their own copy. Soft copies of the digital loaner standard cannot be printed or downloaded.

• Students need to connect to the class from any internet accessible location.
• Webcam and Microphone are REQUIRED.
• Please make note of the CLASS TIME ZONE you are enrolled in.

If your class is In-person:

• You are encouraged to bring a laptop with you to class.
• Please bring a picture ID such as a driver's license, passport, or work badge to class for verification purposes.
