Cybersecurity in the Automotive Industry
Cybersecurity is a serious concern for Automotive OEMs, their suppliers and customers.
Today’s car is not just a machine that moves you from one point to another. Modern automobiles include technologies that can bring safety and convenience to the consumer. Yet, this increased connectivity results in increased threats to personal safety, security and privacy. Remote diagnostics, GPS systems and various infotainment features create challenges that Henry Ford, Louis Renault or Enzo Ferrari never could have imagined, threatening the consumer’s wellbeing, as well as the OEMs and their suppliers' reputation.
Join BSI’s Rob Brown, Global Automotive Champion, and John DiMaria, Information Security and Business Continuity Champion as they review the threats to the industry and cyberattack prevention strategies.
Beginning at 8:30 am on July 24, 2018 in Troy, Michigan, at the Detroit Marriott Troy, this workshop will provide hands-on, practical exercises and discussions around the threats, challenges and opportunities.
The objective of this workshop is to gain insight from industry leaders on the future challenges associated with automotive cybersecurity, associated risks and share mitigation best practices.
Senior leaders from the automotive industry are invited to discuss current and future cybersecurity challenges facing the automotive industry.
