The National Institute of Standards and Technology's (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework (NCFS) is quickly becoming a globally recognized assessment, providing a harmonized approach to cybersecurity and has joined the ranks of the ISO (ISO 27103).
The framework has been embraced around the world by many countries as a way to increase global consistency to cybersecurity and support an industry-based regulatory system that addresses both government and supply-chain requirements.
With the launch of NIST CSF Version 1.1, the call for the private sector to adopt the CSF is growing louder and global harmonization is expanding exponentially.
Join BSI's Global Product Champion John DiMaria and our special guest, Matt Barrett, Program Manager for the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, as they discuss the current and future status of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and how regulatory efforts are already in play globally to adopt the Framework as the requirement to address critical infrastructure threats.
- The global cybersecurity landscape
- Status and breakdown of the Framework
- Implementation strategy
- How the holistic nature of the NIST CSF integrated with current standards is being leveraged in prioritizing and budgeting for cybersecurity improvement activities.
