ISO 20121 is the international standard for sustainable events management. It lays out a management system to help improve the sustainability of any type of event, applying throughout the its entire lifecycle from conception to legacy issues. ISO 20121 can be used by sponsors, venues, organizers and contractors, and is designed to help deliver quality events that maximize their contribution to sustainable development.
The need for stable economic, social and environmental progress is a universally recognized truth with potentially substantial implications for all industries, including events. It is essential to have strategies in place to respond to these implications and protect your business. ISO 20121 outlines the latest international requirements that will help you put the right strategy in place.

Prerequisites
There are no formal prerequisites, however, it will be useful for delegates to read the relevant standards before attending the course.
Course Materials
Soft Copy: You will receive an email prior to the course with instructions on how to access the online Student Handbook, which can be viewed, downloaded or printed.
NOTE: Copies of the standards are not included in the class fee.
BSI will make reasonable efforts to have loaner copies available for use during the class, but students are encouraged to have their own copy. Soft copies of the digital loaner standard cannot be printed or downloaded.

- Students need to connect to the class from any internet accessible location.
- Webcam and Microphone are REQUIRED.

If your class is In-person :
- You are encouraged to bring a laptop with you to class.
