BSI's Implementing and auditing an integrated management system course enables students to leverage and combine two or more management system standards into one integrated management system (IMS) for an organization. Students will learn the steps of integration as it affects business processes, objectives, and risks and the impact the integration can have on the efficiency and effectiveness of the system Students will also learn how the basics of how to audit an IMS by following ISO 19011, "Guidelines for Quality and/or Environmental Management Systems Auditing". Along with a combination of lecture, practical exercises, and workshops, the instructors facilitate class discussions in a formal, organized manner ensuring you leave with the skills needed to make an IMS efficient and effective.

Prerequisite:

Prior experience with auditing management systems to standards such as ISO 9001 or ISO 14001 is strongly encouraged. Knowledge of a ISO 9001 or ISO 14001:2004-based management system standard is required.
